The rise of waistcoats was in the 1660s when King Charles II became fascinated with Persian vests seen in the court of Shah Abbas. The elegant double-breasted waistcoat is crafted of 11oz Italian stretch denim and is lined with soft wool. The waistcoat has a back buckle for fitting adjustment and eight-button front closure.
