Bordeaux Poets
“Burgundy makes you think of silly things; Bordeaux makes you talk about them, and Champagne makes you do them.”
– Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin
The first elements of Chapter Three have arrived! Monsieur Sten Karik took the single-breasted long suit coat and Mahorkas, the wide pleated pants for a walk on Toompea, the Montmartre of Tallinn.
In the circles of working-class revolutionaries, wide-leg pants came into fashion at the end of the 18th century as a contrast to upper class’ knee-breeches. Pleats allow comfort and ease of movement and they also make a man’s front look flatter. Our burgundy trousers are originally long yet they can also be turned up for preferable Moi l’artiste look.
The well-crafted suit jackets and comfortable trousers are available in our store and online.
